Friday is the only completely customizable tool that automates any routine updates at work. See how it works below:
"I’ve tried managing a distributed team via Slack, PM tools, email, and Hangouts before. It’s unmanageable. Friday’s toolset is exactly what was missing to allow people in different time zones to work together seamlessly."

Automatic Reporting
Friday instantly compiles a shareable report that you can send to stakeholders. Easily benchmark results over time too.
We wrote about this in more detail here. The gist is that you don't need to hold an expensive, real-time meeting to share information. Most of the time, standups involve people going around in the circle and sharing their work.
Sometimes people have blockers that need to be addressed, but most of the time, that's not the case. An async daily standup allows individuals to provide an update when the time makes sense for them.
How do you run a daily standup in Friday?
It's really easy. If you create an account, you can easily select a daily standup template and activate an automated workflow. Friday handles all the heavy lifting (notifications, reminders, and more) - we will do everything except filling out the update.
How can this help me save time?
A team of five people spending 15 minutes everyday is thousands of dollars a month in time cost (excluding switching costs). Friday also handles all the work behind the scenes that you would need to do manually - like reminding people if they haven't given an update.
"Daily standups should be a meeting"
If someone is blocked, you should probably hold a meeting. You can still surface this information asynchronously though. The reality is that most of the time, daily standups function the same way as status update meetings, which people strongly dislike and consider to be a waste of time.
Yes. We integrate with Slack and Microsoft Teams. When it's time to complete a daily standup, we will send a notification via direct message at the time you chose. Additionally, we will send a reminder (you can configure this) if someone hasn't filled out an update in a given period of time.
What questions should I ask?
We recommend two possible options (if you use Friday you can customize questions as you see fit).
Classic Standup(yesterday, today, blockers)
Fun Standup("What are you working on?", "Anything else you'd like to share?")
For distributed teams, asking - "anything else you'd like to share?" is an easy way to surface other information that might be relevant. For example, "I need to leave early this afternoon to pick up my child from daycare"
Do you integrate with project management tools?
When completing an update in Friday, we are adding the ability to attach units of work from popular project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc).
Then, you won't need to jump into another tool to remember what you accomplished recently.
How much does this cost?
You can get started for free and there's no limit on the number of people you can invite. Some premium features are available on our premium plan, which starts at $6/mo.
"I'd like to learn more and talk to a real person"
Sure! Feel free to shoot us an email and we can jump on a call and answer any other questions you have.
What makes you different than other tools on the market?
We are the only fully customizable way to share regular updates at work. This includes daily standups, weekly updates, retros, and more.
Why does this matter? It's simple. Most teams communication needs change over time. If you use another tool, at some point you will probably need to use another tool to accomodate a new use-case. Friday handles anything you throw at us, which means you won't need to use a bunch of random tools over time.
The end of useless meetings
The daily standup is only one of many automated habits you can create. Browse routines or create your own from scratch.
Sprint Retrospectives
Hold less awkward retrospectives by surfacing the key information asynchronously beforehand.
