Employee Net Promoter Score Software

The Promoter campaign is a two-question survey that is based on the notion that a happy and engaged employee is one who is willing to recommend the company as a great place to work. It’s a fantastic proxy to measure the health of your organization in a way that’s not a huge time investment.

The Promoter campaign consists of two simple questions:

  1. On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend Acme Inc. as a place to work?
  2. What is the reason for your score?

The Promoter campaign can be sent monthly, quarterly, or bi-annually. We recommend sending this on a quarterly basis. Responses are anonymous and can be segmented by teams of five or more. In the future, we’ll offer more segmenting options.

The Promoter campaign is modeled after how the Net Promoter Score™. Hubspot (rated one of the top companies on Glassdoor) has used a variation of the Promoter campaign (ENPS) for several years and says this:

“HubSpot’s Employee Net Promoter Score isn’t an “HR metric” in the organization; it’s a business one. Every single executive leader feels accountable for his or her team results, and to acting on the macro level feedback included.”

To get started, simply pick a date that makes sense for you and activate the campaign. We’ve set up the questions and done all the heavy lifting so there’s very little work required.

Your organization will be sent an email requesting their feedback. People who don’t respond will receive a reminder email daily for up to seven days. You can easily keep track of the response rate on the results page.

Results are anonymous tabulated on the screen below and can be filtered by three categories:

  1. Promoters (people who answer a 9 or 10)
  2. Passives (people who answer a 7 or 8)
  3. Detractors (people who answer a 6 or less)

We’ve color-coded responses too:

  1. Green = promoters
  2. Blue = passives
  3. Red = detractors

We also aggregate all the results and create a Promoter score, which is something you can easily track and measure over time. If you are interested in seeing the calculation, please refer to this article

Any account can use the Promoter campaign once for free to see how it works. If you’d like to use it on a regular basis, please contact us.

In the near future we’ll be exploring adding the following features:

  1. Ability to segment by age group and years of employment
  2. Ability to visualize the Promoter score over time (charted)
  3. Ability to process themes from open-ended responses.
  4. View Promoter results along with check-in and pulse survey results.
